A world-renowned authority on plastic surgery, Dr. Dennis Hurwitz offers state-of-the-art procedures and a unique, comprehensive approach to treatment. His associates at the Hurwitz Center of Plastic Surgery in Newport Beach are two gifted plastic surgeons who share his vision for excellence: Dr. Siamak Agha, the director of the Newport Beach location, and Dr. Jay Calvert.
Dr. Siamak Agha-Mohammadi
Dr. Siamak Agha-Mohammadi completed his medical education and training at the University of Cambridge in England. He then moved to the United States to complete a plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, widely regarded as having one of the most comprehensive and prestigious plastic surgery training programs in the country.
Dr. Agha's areas of emphasis include facial rejuvenation treatments, body contouring procedures, and breast reshaping surgery. With a commitment to achieving beautiful results through comprehensive treatment, Dr. Agha helps patients fully realize their goals for smooth, shapely bodies and refreshed, younger-looking facial features. From facelift, brow, and eyelid surgery to breast augmentation, abdominoplasty, and post-bariatric plastic surgery, Dr. Agha performs treatments that are safe and effective.
Dr. Agha has contributed to the development of the transumbilical method of breast augmentation, and he has also helped pioneer new techniques in post-bariatric surgery. Before moving to our Newport Beach office, he worked closely with Dr. Dennis Hurwitz in Pittsburgh for several years to pioneer the total body lift procedure. His expertise is often in demand as a speaker at conferences throughout the nation, and he has had articles published on post-bariatric body contouring and plastic surgery. Dr. Agha is committed to providing the highest quality care for his patients.
Dr. Jay Calvert
Dr. Jay Calvert, the director of the Hurwitz Center for Plastic Surgery in Beverly Hills, is occasionally on hand at the Newport Beach location to offer his assistance and surgical expertise. With superior technical skill and an eye for beauty and natural-looking results, Dr. Calvert is a valued member of the Hurwitz team. His contributions to the field of revision rhinoplasty and nasal reconstruction after trauma have garnered international recognition.
