Reflections about my Total Body Lift Surgery done on 12/04/06

I chose Dr. Hurwitz as my surgeon to positively transform my outward appearance. After losing 180 lbs following gastric bypass surgery, my body needed some intervention to rid me of so much loose and sagging skin and even some fat, which got utilized in new areas to create a nice balance in my transformation. My health has been terrific and I wanted my external appearance to more closely match how great I was feeling, internally. I based my choice of surgeons on many things, but some key attributes that Dr. Hurwitz shares with his patients, helped me make a final decision. Dr. Hurwitz's passion, vision, enthusiasm, drive, determination, sensitivity, and unselfishness were all very apparent when I viewed other patient's experiences/testimonies on television, in reading his book, and when researching his websites. A personal phone call from Dr. Hurwitz was quite unexpected, but it helped me make a final decision about going forward with the surgery, after speaking with him at length about it all. The time he takes with a patient to really listen is rare in the medical profession! Coupled with his skills and abilities, I had peace and confidence that he could help me and do a much better job than anyone else! I was not disappointed. He's phenomenal and I have no regrets! Dr. Hurwitz is such a terrific guy. He and his staff work so well together to ensure everything goes as smoothly and effortlessly as possible for the patient, which was critical in my case, because I am from Florida. He even made sure that I was able to make it home in time for Christmas! I left Pittsburgh on Christmas Eve. I was thrilled to be going home, but surprised by how quickly I had developed such a close connection to him and his staff, so I got on the plane with much enthusiasm for returning home, but also knew I'd miss everyone a great deal, just the same. The amount of care, attention, concern and time given to me was such a blessing and continues to be. I know I am very fortunate and look forward to further communications and contact with Dr. Hurwitz and his staff over the coming months. They won't let you down, that's for certain! I can never thank Dr. Hurwitz enough for how he has helped me. I could elaborate even more, but I will save that for another time. Just do your research and you'll be as confident as I am, that Dr. Hurwitz is indeed, an innovator and a very special surgeon, that you can trust and be pleased with!
