The Chin Implant

The Chin Implant Surgery Procedure

A small incision will be made on the underside of the chin or on the inside of the mouth between the gums and lower lip. Finally, the implant will be sutured into place. The sutures will be removed after about 10 days. Patients should avoid strenuous activities for the first week following surgery, and can expect bruising and swelling at the site to last for up to six weeks.
