After losing 150 pounds, Deborah is receiving a total body lift with Dr. Dennis Hurwitz. After a thirteen-hour surgery, excess pounds of skin and fat are removed and Deborah is wearing an all-new look. Four weeks of recovery will leave her feeling refreshed and more confident.
At 41, Deborah Kramer, like Maria Sitar also went through gastric bypass. She has lost 150 pounds and is about to follow Maria’s path. A total body lift in one procedure. I would like to try to go through it all at once, get it done and over with, deal with the pain at one time instead of having, you know because I know what the pain was involved with going through the gastric bypass surgery. Oddly, it is not the pain that worries her but the scars. She wants to wear the revealing clothing she cannot wear now. Will the scarring be that noticeable and you know I am hoping not, but I still think in the end the alternative, it is still better than having a lot of skin there. The 45 minutes spent drawing lines on Deborah’s body now serve as guides for Dr. Hurwitz’s surgical blade for the next 13 hours, this six member team will remove at least 10 pounds of skin from Deborah’s back, buttocks, back, legs, thighs, stomach, and breasts. For both the surgeon and the patient is a lot of stress. It is like a marathon. A marathon that takes four to six weeks of recovery. A body lift is done in two or three stages but it takes four weeks recovery every time. Currently Dr. Hurwitz is the only plastic surgeon that I know of in this area who does the total body lift in one operation and Scott, Mitchell for obvious reasons he real picky about who he has to do that operation and he only takes the patients he thinks that can withstand it but, oh wee, what a beautiful thing.
